The Y has a long, proud history in camping activities and YMCA Camp Eberhart has been committed to nurturing youth development for more than 100 years. Not only do we provide a lifetime's worth of skills and experiences, but YMCA Camp Eberhart also strengthens the foundations of our communities through summer camp, specialty camps year-round, retreats, and other camping programs and activities for people of all ages, incomes and abilities.

AN ADVENTUROUS APPROACH TO LEARNING
It can be hard to figure out your place in the world. As a young person with your whole life ahead of you, having the right guidance and support can make a real difference in figuring out who you are and what you can achieve. When kids come to YMCA CAMP EBERHART, they can explore their interests and find support in navigating challenges.We partner with schools to provide year-round outdoor education to kids from throughout Michigan, Indiana, and Illinois. We believe that the educational journey for all children should include opportunities for a series of planned, quality outdoor learning experiences balanced by free time to discover nature in a safe way.
Recently, Andrews Elementary 4th graders gathered in their classroom to accept a grant from the Elks National Foundation, channeled through the local Lodge #1248, which will provide their Environmental Outdoor Education experience at YMCA Camp Eberhart this spring. All Three Rivers elementary schools are offered the opportunity to have their fourth-graders come for up to a three-day, two-night visit that includes food, songs, bonfire, archery, canoeing and more. Such experiences inspire passion, motivating students to become successful learners and to develop as healthy, confident, enterprising and responsible citizens.
