2012 Summer Session Is Now Over!
A letter to Alumni and Staff:
First of all, I think I can speak on behalf of all the Camp Eberhart Alumni and say a big "Thank You" to all the summer staff, as well as to the permanent staff for a job WELL done. The 2012 season has been a tremendous success. Camp had almost 1500 campers this summer and tallied 1979 camper weeks. Wow, is the only way to express the camps success.
I do believe that the campers had lots of fun, and learned something about themselves and their friends while staying at camp. Eberhart is a goal oriented camp - campers set goals and staff gives them the opportunity to achieve them. I hope many many many goals were achieved this year. AND, I hope those achievements lead to visits next year to continue the process of learning about oneself and to better themselves at the program area's they enjoyed the most.
Again, thanks to everyone! Even the Alumni stepped in and made significant contributions - not only with their checkbooks, but with sweat equity during Alumni Weekend.
Camp Eberhart is one of the best camps in the nation due to your efforts (staff and alumni). And as a grandparent of a couple of campers, I thank you so very much for your love and dedication to making Camp EB a better place. (ecl)
